the rainbows programme


Rainbows is a twelve week group support programme for children and young people who have suffered a significant loss through death, separation, or any painful transition.

In the Family Centre groups are available for children and young people from seven years to eighteen years of age. Trained rainbows facilitators provide the programme at the Centre each year from October to February. Rainbow facilitator training 2012

Rainbows is an organisation that provides a structured programme of support for young people between the ages of 7 years and 18 years who have been affected by a significant loss in their lives through the separation of their parents or the death of a person close to them. Every September the Family Centre provides training for those who wish to become Facilitators in Rainbow sites in the region. If you are interested in considering this training please contact your local Rainbow site or the Family Centre. Details of the training will be available on the Family Centre website in August.
