The Family Mediation Service is run by the Family Support Agency & is staffed by professionally trained mediators.

The Castlebar office is based in the Family Centre and offers a professional and confidential service for separating couples which offers them an opportunity to:

• Negotiate their own agreement

• Create an acceptable settlement

• Reduce bitterness

• Increase co-operation

• Avoid going to court

• Reduce costs
