Cura counsellors are trained in crisis pregnancy counselling and post abortion counselling.

Our counselling is free, confidential, non-directive, non-judgemental, respecting self-determination and the dignity of the individual.

We will listen and help clients to talk about their feelings worries and difficulties and will give clients the time space and support needed to explore thier options in order to make an informed decision.

An unplanned pregnancy, at any time can be frightening and traumatic.

Cura also offers crisis pregnancy counselling and post-abortion counselling to boyfriends, partners, parents, grandparents and to all those facing a crisis because of a pregnancy.

Cura is a voluntary organisation established in 1977 by the Catholic hierarchy to provide help and support for women who were unhapilly pregnant.
We began with 5 centres and now have 16 centres spread throughout the country. Cura Castleabr office in the Family Centre was established in 1998.
