Monthly Separated Persons Support Group
Separation in close intimate relationships is a painful reality for many people. Coping with this new reality can be extremely difficult on both children and adults. The Family Centre offers specific individual services for those who are separated particularly to ensure children are kept central to everybody's concern. In addition to our individual services we are now hoping to provide a Separated Persons support group facilitated by those who are themselves separated and trained in group facilitation. The group will operate under the auspices of our Family Life after Separation project. If there is sufficient interest in the establishment of this group we hope to have a monthly support group meet routinely in the future. If you are interested in participating in this support group please contact the Family Centre for further information.
